There is never a day that we go to the library in Ashhurst and have a bad experience! Ross and his team are always welcoming, knowledgeable, helpful and kind. We love going there as there is always so much happening! It's the heart of the community! They are always involved and have their hand on the pulse!
HI, Ashhurst Library and the staff are awesome. Friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere is really like the living room of the village. Its like a family family in the broader sense of the word-village family get together place. Nothing nicer than to be recognised when you enter, and its obvious that the librarian/s there make an effort to make everybody feel at home. They know all their customers, and there are other activities on offer centering around the community. An example to all about how a community library should be run.
Awesome staff, helpful, welcoming just a great library to visit. This year 2020 has been hard on all of us no matter of where we live and local interaction. It's as noted above a wonderful, welcoming place to chat, meet new people and generally I can not just drop in and leave as soon as I can. Maybe once or twice I have done that but that is a reflection of my running late I support the Librarians, they have gone beyond the scope of their job. I have not had a good year so far and the empathy, consideration, caring and helpful staff are always welcome and offer solutions immediately. Thanks & kudos to Ross,Joce & Beth and others we may see from either PALMERSTON NORTH CENTRAL Library and from other libraries around the district.
An awesome little library. A real focal point in the community. Ross the librarian is really friendly, and most helpful. Kids are a real focus and priority at this library too. One of Ashhurst's best assets.
Very welcoming and joyful staff. Helped me create a library account. The library itself is very small but it does have a computer that you can use.
Great friendly librarians and a great working space to get stuff done. Staff helped me instantly. This place is the heart of ashhurst
