Very impressed on the care the team took to look after my baby who had possible croup, it was a long afternoon on sunday 16/2/25 i rushed her in at 4pm after she woke from her nap with a horrible croup sounding cough we spent from around 4pm to about 1.30am there but it was well worth the time spent, my partner phoned them while i was on my way so we got taken straight away, im sooo greatful they listened to what i had to say and kept a close eye on her as the day went on. She ended up getting treated for croup and we got sent home. I left there feeling more relieved and happier knowing she had been cared for, as a first time mum i was super exhausted, scared and emotional not knowing what the outcome was going to be of my sick baby. They did everything they possibly could at the time. Shes now at home on the mend, everyday is 1 step closer to her being back to her usual self im so very greatful
Average wait time is 5-6 hours for doctor,nAnd they can't figure out the issue.nBeen three times there, seen three different doctorsafter 6 hrs wait each time, and had three different versions, and meds for a one issue.....
If I had an option of giving zero stars I would. Pathetic service!!!nThis is my second time here this week with my son having temp over 40*C, rash all over his body as reaction from spider bite. First time we got sent back home and now we are waiting here again for nearly 2 hours, nothing has been done and no doctor has checked him so far!nWhat a horrible public system! Just as bad as any 3rd world Country!
I went into ED on the 2nd Feb with dizziness and loss of balance. My wait in the waiting room would have been less than 15 mins and then they put me in a cubicle. I was looked after by a lovely nurse called Ebin. His bedside manner and explanation of things was exceptional and at the end of his shift he came and said goodbye. The service from all the staff I dealt with was topnotch. Considering the pressure these health professionals are under they still go out of their way to provide the best care possible. We in New Zealand are lucky to have the health system we have.
If i had an option of giving zero stars i would. Pathetic service and no attention given what so ever. Had to sit in emergency for 3 hrs when there was no one else. No empathy at all. And when we took an appointment in private hospital and let them know that we are leaving the staff became really happy about it as if they never wanted to treat the patient. Sorry but this is a negative comment made by me ever in my whole life.
