Beautiful spot with beautiful garden/park area. Clean but ablutions too small. Shower very basic , although it's nice to have unisex/family shower. 2 showers with loo inside and 1 separate toilet to a HUGE area with lots of campers. Only 1 washer and dryer for this large area too. There was more facilities further along, but there were heaps of campers sharing that too. Lady at reception was lovely- very friendly and helpful It's a stunning spot, just need more ablutions for the amount of campers
Best campsite we've been to so far! The facilities are all new and clean. The showers were amazing and the kitchen was the best we encountered so far in NZ. There is even a community garden with herbs and salads and stuff! It's a huge area with lots of space and ifyou park clever in front of the hedge than you wake up in the shade, which is really nice in summer. Unfortunately we could only stay one night but would have loved to stay longer.
A lovely large spacious camp ground right next tō tinwald domain which is a bonus. Stayed here a few days while working in the area. The owners are lovely people, campground very tidy. Lots of areas for camping. Whether you want tō mix with the crowd or camp in Peace this place is your go tō spot. Good facilities and not tō far from town. Ā few long term residents, very quiet and keeps tō themselves. Highly recommended.
Visited over the busy new year time. A very large campground for campers and caravans. Powered sites. Water taps. Utility buildings with limited toilets and showers. Kitchen block is good but also limited seating and available fridge freezer space. Small laundry area with one clothes line and pegs. Tidy sites. Not too far from town but take the car.
Really nice spot to stay in. Nice and quiet in a picturesque setting. Only a few minutes from Ashburton town itself, which is really nice as it meant we were out of the hustle and bustle. Very friendly staff. Facilities are clean and well kept. Would recommend
Beautiful place to stay nice and quiet big space local pools and park close by. Clean kitchen and toilet block hot showers that are not on timers. One of the best laundry that I have used clean and the drier gets hot. Thank you Ashburton hoilday Park.Service: 5/5
It was a nice camp sight. Good for price. A few of the showers and toilets were broken. But still clean. It feels very much like a clicky camp. Everyone knows everyone. You kind of feel like if your not apart of the camp group, then you are abit of an outsider. That might not be the case, but that's what it felt like to us.
One of the best Holiday Parks so far! I spent 5 weeks in the Backpacker Lodge while I worked in the city. Comfortabele, wooden beds, big kitchen and a cozy TV room. For 20 $ per night great. And the nices Hosts you can imagine.
Clean and warm showers coplimentary toilet, spacious and well equipped kitchen with grill also included. 16$ per person/night.
Huge camp-site / holiday park with security gate and plenty of options from backpacking to cabins. Super cost effective and only a 5 minute drive from the main street of Ashburton. New toilet / shower block was nice and clean. Paid WiFi but slow/heavy traffic. A lot of long term park residents so can feel a little uneasy and as if intruding on their accommodation using communal spaces.
