ASB Showgrounds

Plenty of facilities, easy access and an awesome event. I went to the ASB showgrounds for the Auckland Armageddon Expo, and the event was friendly, fun and a really good time for a wide range of ages. If you have any sensory issues, it may be a little overcrowded and intense for you.

Huge venue to the 2020 Japan Day, with plenty of room inside and outside. Food trucks and food stalls made this a specular event. Arrive early to avoid long lines. The organization put two stages, one in each room. Toilets were decent. Plenty of parking lot paid by the hour.

Went to see the Easter 2019 festival and it was beautiful. There were plenty of rides for the kids and also for grown ups. I enjoyed the fireworks in the end. To make it more memorable, I along with my friends went to the One Tree Hill which is nearby to watch the fireworks show. We witnessed it from the point where you can see the whole Auckland city. It was mesmerizing.

Saw big boys toys here recently, was great lots of interesting things for vehicle enthusiasts free rides electric etc and of course mad mikes awesome lambo!

The Great Easter Carnival is huge. Over 2,000 visitors at any time. Kids galore as over 50+ games and activities from 5 &> and adults as well. The Farm is a great contact with our farm animals. Free hand sanitizer after patting animals. Sheep shearing is an eye opener by super skill shearers. New huge farming tractors on display. Lots of food choices. A favourite was Malaysian food which had 6 lines queuing at anytime. Hotdogs were another favourite. Majority vendors accept cash but some offered EFTPOS. There is a cash vending ATM at 2 o'clock of ASB entrance. Great shows for kids and adults like a logging competition. Don't forget to visit our local helicopter heroes & their helicopter. Enjoy an entertaining & great family fun day!

It is so sad to see how unkempt and neglected the place has become. Such a big space, sure Auckland could make better use of it. I really hope now that we are out of the worst of covid that it will improve, such a shame

Great venue, great events. Parking can sometimes be hard to find. Be prepared to walk for 5-10mins to enter the grounds.

Great venue for the motorhome show. Heaps of parking, and friendly staff throughout the venue.
