Delish food. Unfortunately for the waist line, we did this place 2 mornings in a row. Pies were yum and eggs Benedict, bacon n eggs were awesome. If you're wanting a good breakfast this is the spot.
Home made pies large & delicious
Home made pies, the best I've ever tasted. Filled to capacity with meat and gravy. Had steak and mushroom, premium quality. Locally owned and operated. A must visit if anywhere near opunake.
HUGE pies, just have to be tried! But this time I enjoyed a satisfying egg, bacon, cheese and meat pattie muffin which came with slaw and a drizzle of balsamic vinegar. Good coffee and an extensive selection of bakery and GF items. Service was excellent, thanks, will be back for the pie!
Great pies, great friendly service. Our son likes to rate pies... he considers the filling, the pastry, the cheese, the tomato sauce he's 11. He's never given a full 10 before, but this one got it.
Well set up, great food and wonderful service.
Had great coffee and a excellent kumara and bacon flan, loads of other options too. Friendly staff and nice place.
The ambiance is very nice. Cosy and family-like joint. Love the food. Awesome huge pies. My favourite is their Seafood Cowder. Drop in and try it for yourself if/when you're in Opunake .
