Very happy with the service I received from Angie. I’ve been back multiple times since. The staff are friendly and are helpful. The workmanship is immaculate and they take their time with your nails. My acrylics have lasted so long with little to no breakages still have the same set of nails on that I got 3 months ago with infills every month to touch them up. I leave the salon happy every time! Thanks Angie & Kate for the great job you’ve done on my nails
On arrival i was asked if i wanted a drink. It never arrived. During the consultation about nail colour i picked three different colours after being told the first two colours were unavailable. Its decieving giving the customers options that arent available. The cleaning up of the nails needs work and the painting is terrible. I've been to Salons that charge $50 and the customer focus and workmanship is excellent. The customer service spoils this place. The technicians are easily distracted and need custoner service training. Given a 1 for the quality of work and poor customer focus. I will continue to go to Mage nails in Atrium. They do a brilliant job and very professional best of all they know how to value the customers.
I went in for an Express Gel manicure with a Grabone voucher to try out Art of Nails Sylvia Park with a trainee artist. The salon has pretty decor and I was made to feel very welcomed, even received a lovely cup of tea. The artist that did my nails was gentle and took her time. I'm very pleased with the results, the standards here were way better than some of the other franchise and small boutique salons I've been to.
Normally such a great service so I come here regularly to get gel nails. Until one broke 3 times in a week so I got a full set of dip powder instead - what a mistake! The lady was lovely and was the same technician who had fixed my nail twice that week kept breaking though as my request for a dip each time was not fulfilled but the nails are rough and dirty after only having them done last night! They're not smooth and glossy as I expected and honestly look horrible. The white has a texture which holds any and all dirt, and the glitter nails aren't sparkly - they're dull and dirty already! Super disappointing. Especially since I also had to wait 45 minutes for the gel to come off since a trainee technician clearly had no idea how to take it off - I was close to just doing it myself!! An hour and a half at the salon for nails I wish I didn't pay for.
Photos taken two weeks after. And still looks great!...Was an unplanned visit and they were very attentive. One negative feedback would be, prices were hard to understand. Would be great if the prices were clear to read and not scribbled all over.
Thoroughly enjoyed my experience with the Art of Nails in Sylvia Park today, the girls are all so attentive and friendly and Sharna did an amazing job with my nails! Thank-you ladies!!!
Finally found someone who did a great job After nine months of coming religiously but sadly I won't be back. After making an appointment for a repair, I walked in and took a seat as I saw everyone was busy. Five minutes later after not being acknowledged I stood up and walked to the counter. Staff walked over to me and asked my name. I told her and mentioned I'd been waiting there for five minutes. Claimed that she didn't see me. She then asked me to wait a bit longer. Another staff came to me and said she could do it then. She was cold and not at all welcoming like the time she did a pedicure for more a few months ago. I felt like she wasn't happy doing the work. It showed in the result. Replacement acrylic was not filed and buffed down, was a different shape to the other nails and very thick. I had to scrape the glue off that was sticking the nail to my skin. $15 for this!! I was dismayed as this place was recommended to me and I like the atmosphere and cleanliness. Although I wasn't always happy with the work and cost, hygiene is always spot. Those accumulating factors along with the aloof service and laid back attitude towards not acknowledging a customer has finally turned me off ever returning. It took ages to find someone who really tried her best to do a good job... I shouldn't have to wait to book for that one person, they should all be like that.
