Kaipara artist, Pauline Gough, is an intuitive acrylic painter. Her aim is to paint intuitively as opposed to analytically and she works quickly in order to achieve a fresh result. Her intent is to portray her impression of what she sees.
Pauline has been painting and exhibiting prolifically since 2010 and is becoming known for her vibrant paintings. She loves to work with thick acrylic paint and sometimes incorporates other media (inks, charcoal, pastels) into her paintings. She paints a variety of subjects, in particular racehorses, musicians, landscapes and her signature cows.
