Loved it here. It's a central location to see lots of the North. Quiet location, amazing star views, bonus of wild Kiwi living here too. We saw Kiwi twice on our three night stay.
Hands down our favourite campsite on the North Island. Very well maintained and the nature walk is short but really neat. For the price I feel as though we got a bargain when compared to other places we have stayed at. Would stay again I a heartbeat.
Had a lovely 1 night stay here, friendly staff, clean and plenty of facilities. Went out kiwi searching at night and saw one! Also heard them calling to each other. Was so happy! Would definately recommend.
What a peaceful gem hidden away in a beautiful area and managed by lovely people! We stayed 2 days longer than planned as it had all we needed for a very reasonable price! Well worth the stay
Wonderful experience. Lovely staff. Saw a Kiwi in the wild. Great accommodation. Highly recommended.
Fantastic campsite. We were able to spot a few kiwis! Great facilities.
Fantastic experience in a woodland wonderland. And if you're very quiet you may just spot a kiwi in the bush.
Sleep amongst wild kiwi! We weren't fortunate enough to see one but you could hear their calls. A great spot to stay.
If you wanna see Kiwis in the wild this is the place. They received us after their closing time and were kind enough to show us around and even told us the best spot to be able to see the kiwis that live in the island. The place is really clean and very quiet. Would definitely go back.
