Archery Plus at Dartington Barn, in sunny Blenheim, New Zealand, specialises in uniquely different archery and target sports activities.
We cater mainly for business groups but also offer basic archery coaching. Archery is the fastest growing sport in the USA and great fun. We can offer archery on it's own or our unique Archery Plus package includes archery using recurve and long bows; throwing axes at a log wall; throwing ninja type stars at targets on a wooden board; shooting low powered air rifles at spinning targets; using slingshots/catapults/ shanghi's to fire marbles at stainless steel rat silhouettes; blow pipes firing darts at targets. As per our testimonials, it's a whole lot of fun and when we have 8 or more people we offer 'the Big Finish' which is so secret we cannot tell you about here!
Everything, for obvious reasons is strictly alcohol free, so no alcohol before or during. We ask you wear long sleeves, tie back long hair and have closed toe footwear. For a group, the Archery + takes about 2½ hours. Minimum age for archery is 8 years and for Archery + is 16 years old. This is fantastic pre-function fun!
Archery Attack is a great team building activity, sessions last for about an hour, consisting of 5-minute games with much-needed breaks. Players use bows and foam-tipped arrows to eliminate opponents and knock out the opposing team’s target.
Archeryplus requires a minimum of 4 people and Archery Attack is a minimum of 12 people.
