Finally got to walk this iconic swing bridge in the rain. Its a lovely piece of history with the dam below! Will visit again when the weather is warmer.
Has two car parks one is by the tennis court and the other one is by the bowling club 100m away from suspension bridge. Has great views above the power station

I loved it. Very short walk from the car park nice long swing bridge and the water is really flowing. I love swing bridges there was a tourist bus with lots of passengers there to. Plenty of room for everyone. Highly recommend it .

Really cool experience. Turn Right where sign says bridge parking and park past and behind the tennis club, follow signs. Can do it in 15 minutes or linger longer, maybe walk part of the river trails or enjoy a picnic. Rhubarb Cafe that you pass can set you up for that
A good stop by from Otorohanga to Rotorua. A small cafe near too.
