Nice place to go for a walk and spot the wildlife swimming around in the water.nAlso seems to attract quite a few people for fishing etc.nThe whole Aramoana area is very quiet and laided back which was nice.nNice beach area for those that are keen for a swim but the water is definitely not warm!
A very picturesque spot with views out to sea right at the entrance to Dunedin harbour. Absolutely swarming with seagulls, arctic terns and several seals so used to humans that they don't move as you walk closely past. You can see the albatross sanctuary across the water to your right and surfers down the beach off to your left.
Didn’t get to see a sunrise here, but we did sail past it and it just looked stunning! Would have loved to be here on land to experience.
Great location to visit. Seals laying on the track and sleeping on the rocks.
Great drive and amazing views, beach nearby would be great on a warm day.
