Great place. Fun for kids. Must be able to swim an swim out to the activity. Water can be cold. Basic changing areas only
Took my family here on Waitangi Day. The kids 10 and 13 absolutely loved it! Even hubby had a good time. Toilets portaloos and changing rooms available. Cold drinks to buy. Life jackets provided. Shaded areas for spectators to sit although a few of the trees could be trimmed for easier viewing.
Really cool place for kids so super safe. Easy parking and places to sit. Found a special online with both Groupon $20 p child 50 mins and Grabone $12.50 p child 50 mins so I booked 2 separate times back to back. The water is cold so kids who get chilled easily will need wetsuits. Life jackets are provided and there's 2 life guards at all times. The crowd lines up by the entrance to the jetty then everyone gets a life jacket, they swim across about 10 meters and climb up and then entertain themselves we will def go back.
Was a really cold day but we still had fun as we had booked etc online and traveled from out of town we didn't get to pick the weather. Hopefully next time it'll be warmer. Great family outing
Fantastic place in the summer! Had both my boys birthday parties here, and they had a blast. Well run, clear instructions, and lovely staff. Definitely worth a visit
