Discovered this place by accident, just before the big renovation. Love that they have free parking such a struggle to find a park these days in town, even for paid parking. Great food and I didn't realise Chinese- style BBQ okra tasted so good!! Lots of other delicious food on the menu. However they don't always have everything in stock, which is annoying. Not great first impression but definitely improved so read on till the end of you're interested.... The first time I went, we called the mobile number only number available at the time and the owner said they were open but the staff said the shop was actually closed when we arrived. Probably just a case of closing slightly earlier due to a quiet night. Fortunately the staff still let us in after I told them that we had called, and they were really nice about it too. Enjoyed a great meal that night and had to wait a few long months to enjoy another meal after their renovation.i
Just bought takeaway from this place for the first time. I was going to order some lamb kebabs together with other things, the staff told me on the phone that they have special for lamb kebabs, which is $10 for 12. So I ordered 12, and some other things. When I picked the food up, it costed me $65.5 in total which was more than usual from other places for a meal like this so I read through the price. It was shown $18 for these 12 lamb kebabs on the screen. I then asked the staff about it, she said the special is not for now, she made a mistake. I gave this review because the staff told me the wrong price which resulted me ordered more lamb kebabs and didn't say anything about it until I addressed it, they didn't amend the final price even she admitted it was her mistake.
Worst service. Went there at 10 pm with 13 other friends. Checked with the waitress and she said she could accommodate us. However, while we were getting ready to sit down, the female owner who was drinking and seemed to be drunk came and told us that they could serve only 10 of us as two of their other tables were booked. 4 of our friends had to leave. Ironically, we were there till they closed the shop but those two tables were left empty all the time. Why didn't they just tell us straight? Why lied they were booked? Additionally, the fried fish taste horrible. The display food picture is quite misleading too. Never going back.
There is a quite good restaurant, and some Chinese cuisines are amazing, make me so high! And I think the area quite big, there are always so many people come to here and eating a lot, happy atmosphere! I love some chef! There are so pro!!! I love them!! And also I love the waitress! There are so friendly, making me felling warmth !
Should be 0 star if the option is available. Ordered food via Uber eat. It took 2 hours and 15 minutes to get the food ready - did not warn us about the waiting time unsure why needed so long in the 1st place to prepare a few BBQ skewers, a bowl of instant noodle and a plate of fried rice. That’s not the best, the best was the fried rice was not included in the delivery , hence another 20 minutes to deliver the fried rice. Horrible taste.
Was kicked out as did not make booking earlier. It's very small restaurant, probably 7-8 tables only. We didn't know that, a bit dissapointed. The staff was not that friendly, we waited at the door nearly 10min, nobody came to us until we approached the counter, only ask if we have make booking before. Not too sure if want to go back to try the food.
A little bit disappointing comparing to other Charcoal BBQ places nearby. Pretty pricey for the portion of the food, maybe due to its location. Some of the BBQs are actually deep fried. Other dishes that's not BBQ are really no taste.
Our waitress delivered top customer service, patient and eager to introduce us to the new renovated restaurant. The food was great, we only ordered skewers and the flavouring packs a full punch.
I will not be returning to this awful place. Seeing all the staff outside smoking and even step inside to give back the kitchen lighter with their cigarette in hand. Disgraceful! The most rude people in hospitality I've ever met.
This is my first time come to this Chinese restaurant, the food is really awesome, it is not only have Chinese BBQ, also have Chinese traditional dishes,like fried spicy chicken, braisrd pork and fried pork intestine.... I will come here again!
