We visited on a windy day, but still had a wonderful experience. We’d already had lunch, so we sat on the balcony with a glass of wine. The wine selection is excellent, the view and atmosphere are lovely, and they even offer blankets if it gets chilly. We’ll definitely come back to try the food.nnWe came back a few days later to have lunch. Food was great as expected. A hidden gem at the Waiheke Orneoa town.
Visited Apertivo twice while on the island. The first time was on Saturday night and it was pumping. We were happy to sit at the table outside the front door. We decided to stay for a bit to eat and then got a table on the balcony. Lovely view, friendly servers who were happy to reseat us at a spare table. We had the pork belly and the pasta sheets with cheese fondue. The pork belly was delicious with a flavourful orange kumara sauce. The pasta sheets were good. I would have preferred a stronger cheese flavour but I do love cheese ; Good wine, good service, good food. We returned the following day for an early lunch with our friends and again enjoyed the atmosphere and view. Thanks team.
We loved Aperitivo- our favorite of several good restaurants we tried in Oneroa. Loved the Octopus, the Tuna Tartare and liked our other dishes a lot, too. Great selection of local wines. Knowledgeable servers who were very friendly. And the views of the cove were lovely. On the short list for sure!
Aperativo is a delightful cozy cocktail bar restaurant that is cozy has delicious eats and great cocktails have been numerous times. Went last night with friends and my sister. As it was after dinner we had champagne and tiramisu.nLovely place yummy food great drinks highly recommend
If I could give this restaurant a 10 I would. Everything we had was on point. Restaurant accommodated an allergy with perfection. Service was exemplary and the view could be beaten. We loved the octopus and the paella was unique and tasty. Just wish we had more!
