Absolutely amazing ultimate surf camp! Kids were for the first time 10 & 8 yr old and enjoyed every minute of this adventure. We were very well informed daily and knew kids are safe and well taken care off. Fresh food, fun games, surf school, water slide...Boys want to go again, which is the best feedback, we are happy;
Just had such an awesome women’s surf and yoga retreat weekend. One of the best weekends I’ve ever had! Fun, beautiful accommodation glamping in a tipi, thoughtful food, amazing yoga space, and I learnt so much in the two surf lessons we had. Beth, the instructor, was sensational all weekend - such a lovely soul and she went above and beyond to make our weekend super special. Highly recommend and great value for money. Thanks heaps guys!
Aotearoa Surf School & Board Hire is always super friendly & helpful. Their lessons and equipment are top notch. Te Arai is so beautiful, such great spot to head for a surf with friends.
Superb surf school. Friendly, knowledgeable instructors that really want you to have fun & improve on the water. Good for different levels, lessons for beginners & tuning for the more experienced, along with a good range of hire boards & suits. Definitely worth a lot more sessions ‍
I recently attended the women’s wellness weekend and had an absolute blast. Beth was our host and coach and was simply fabulous. Highly recommend. Though I am not sure surfing is my strength I absolutely loved and managed to stand up a few times!! Will be back.
Do yourself a favour and gift yourself, your mother, sister, aunt, friend, or daughter a weekend away on one of Aotearoa Surf's women's wellness retreats! Beth was a phenomenal host, setting a beautiful tone for our weekend together, taking care of all the little touches around the edges everything from fresh flowers and candle, to birthday decorations for a participant, to whipping up the dishes. She was an outstanding, engaging surf instructor, made us all feel at home and warmly welcomed, and genuinely shared our stoke for being there. I'd been hesitant going into the weekend exhausted but Beth's inclusive and dynamic energy drew our whole group right in, and I left feeling recharged and inspired!
Had a 2 hour private lesson from 2-4 today. Excellent instructor who was patient, explained basics easily & it got me up standing quickly. Good positive feedback that helped me keep going. Highly recommend. Will def be back. Thanks from the Irishman
Booked a last-minute surf lesson and were out in the water less than two hours after the call. Couldn’t asked for a better nor faster service! It was a private beginners class and I think our teachers name was Corni! A relaxed and down to earth surfer who had us standing on the board on our first time surfing. Amazing experience and highly recommended, will definitely take another class!
I had a fantastic private lesson with Corne! Great tips and a lot of patience to make sure you’ll improve your surf skills. The beach is absolutely beautiful. We also rented boards for a reasonable price and the return process is super chill. We’ll be back!
