What an absolute surprise! We were expecting a basic motel with little to offer. What we got were super soft towels such a luxury in NZ, a very spacious living area I did a full body workout with weights as well as a kitchenette with enough equipment for us to make a pretty decent meal. We only stayed one night but with the bakery down the street & things explore in the area, we’ll be back. Oh! And the bed was pretty good. I chose the firmest one though. A delightful place! Rooms: Spacious living area. Adequate room in the bedrooms. If you stay in winter, they have lovely soft duvets!
Erin is amazing. Awesome service! Room is spacious with great ventilation heater and fans. Every room has fridge, kitchen and cooking utensils, stove, microwave etc. Everything is well thought of! They even have coffee plungers, and wine glasses if you fancy a wine night. I stayed for 3 weeks and it was an amazing experience.

Great place to stay for a short stay. Easy to find and street is off the main road, so nice and quiet. The room looked very appealing, with nice bedding and furnishings. Everything was spotlessly clean and easy to heat, comfortable and had what we needed. Owner had advised that our key information would be on the blackboard outside the office, which suited us fine. My husband talked to the owner on the last day, who was lovely and friendly. Very well priced unit. Unit has been modernised, though paint around some of the window sills are due for a touch up. Driveway runs alongside units, so extra care may be needed with young children, but perfectly suitable for other age groups. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
Arrived 5pm in winter to a warm room with heater on. Such a lovely welcome. Erin was very friendly as were her team. Exceptionally clean and tidy. Quiet. Cosy beds I didn't want to leave, not to mention the under floor heating. Good view of mountains. Great place, recommend it. Thanks.Rooms: 5/5
No one in the office when we arrived, but hotel owner left a clear message so we can find easily our room. We stayed one night and every thing was fine except the shower was not warm enough. Price is okay comparing to hotels in lake Tekapo. It’s a good choice If you don’t mind driving 30min in the midnight to Lake Tekapo to watch the starry night.
