We had a fantastic experience at this branch.nnEven though our appointment was originally scheduled for 9:30am, we missed it because our flight was delayed and we only managed to arrive later in the afternoon. Despite this, the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, and they still did their best to help us.nnOur appointment had only been booked for one person, but they kindly helped both me and my partner open our bank accounts. The whole process was impressively quick and efficient — within about 45 minutes we were completely set up, with our accounts opened and our bank cards already issued and ready to use.nnA special thank you to Michelle if I remember her name correctly, who helped us with the account setup and was absolutely lovely, professional, and efficient. Also, the young man at the entrance who guided us to the right place was extremely friendly and welcoming.nnThe whole experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Excellent customer service from everyone we interacted with. Highly recommend this branch!
I recently visited this ANZ branch to take care of some banking matters, and the staff member who assisted me was Chloe.nnIt is actually very rare for me to write a review specially because of one staff member, but I am truly, truly grateful for everything she did for me. Another staff member assisting her told me that she had almost done everything she possibly could to help get my approval through. I sincerely appreciate that.nnShe was extremely patient, very kind, and truly understanding of others. I genuinely feel that employees like her are a real credit to ANZ and one of the reasons ANZ shines.nnI would also like to thank the Chinese colleague who served me together with her, whose name seemed to be Zeng. I am also very grateful for his help.nnWell done!
I rarely leave bad reviews, but my recent visits to ANZ have been consistently frustrating. The service is incredibly slow. Staff seem disinterested and disengaged, offering minimal assistance and often appearing more focused on chatting with each other than helping clients.nnSimple tasks take far longer than they should, and there’s little sense of urgency or customer care. It feels like the bare minimum is being done — no warmth, no effort to make the experience smooth.nnHonestly expected better from a major bank. Definitely reconsidering my options.
Can’t believe such a big bank and I guess one of the biggest branch in Christchurch but sorry to say very disappointed with the services and attitude of their staff here.nUnfortunately after my local branch closed few years ago and this is my closest branch now and I really never felt like my bank.nThere is hardly more then 1or 2 counters open also though so many Asian girls floating around to make you feel welcomed but rather want them to open the counter so people don’t have to wait and get going on with their businesses.nFunny thing is while you standing in the queue they come and asking you what you are there for and only to tell you cunningly to stand in line and wait for the next person to serve you. What a joke.
I am here to open my ANZ account today. Everyone who has helped me was so helpful and friendly. Truly surprised at the quality of service I received today. Special thanks to Michelle, Judy, George for your smile and expertise.
