As a staff i worked there for two years very bad and wost experince. They hire me as caregiver but they gave me housekeeping shifts after that dinning assistant shifts after some time they gave me CG shifts which are not permanent. Always goes to the manager ask for permanent shifts but manager always said me some one is going on leave i gave you all shifts of that person bur it never happened. I am always worried about to get the shifts. Than atlast after losing my hope not treated good and fair and not getting shifts permanent i leave the facility and luckily got the job another facility. I try to upgrade my skills in Anthony wilding but the CM don't want me to do that. I feel very bad and neglected.nI will never recommend anyone to work there. But its everyones choice what they want to do. The experince i got from there was worst.
I was in respite care for 6 weeks at the Anthony Wilding Rest Home after being sent there from Christchurch Public Hospital to help me in the healing process of recovering from a fractured ankle. While I was there it was difficult for me to except the fact I could no longer do any of the simple things I took for granted for myself anymore.I felt embarrassed but I needn't have worried the Staff there put my mind at rest and were absolutely fantastic from the moment I arrived until the moment I left. The experience I had there was a most rewarding one indeed and I'll be forever grateful to them for the part they played in the healing process that I went through and I wish them all the best for helping me out and if I could give them an efficiency rating of 11 out of 10 i would gladly do so
Lovely staff here, they cared for my late mother and my dad at times spends time here in respite. I feel confident in leaving him here.
I heard that they were opening a cafe there so I went to check it out and I ordered a bacon ham and cheese panini. I took a bite and it was crispy on the outside but soft on the inside and everything was perfectly cooked and the ingredients were evenly distrubuted. I highly reccomend it. My great grandad also lives there and the staff were all incredibly nice and did whatever they did to help him when he needed it.
Arrived here to visit a friend who had just been relocated from another town. Parking was good and they also have a covered roundabout at the front entrance. Very helpful, especially if raining. Reception appeared dark on entering but friendly service on arrival from all staff that were around. Although I missed my friend as she had gone out with family, I'd love to come back and look around again. Looks like a large complex with lovely gardens. There is hospital level care, rest home level care and units within the grounds of Anthony Wilding.
