Went in originally for a very sore leg, had a very bad doctor to start with but when I asked for another one; I was provided with Adriana. She was the best doctor I’ve ever come across, Very easy to deal with, professional, bubbly and a big heart. This turned my whole experience from very Dissatisfied into a very positive outcome with the right treatment that the first doctor couldn’t do.
Have been to this clinic when it’s busy and when it’s not. Helpful and efficient staff. Triage process is there to determine priority of who gets seen by the Doctors first. Wait time display seemed reasonably accurate but be prepared to wait as long as it takes
The nurse Julia is very rude. She answered the phone with an attitude and bid farewell to cut the conversation short. I was polite throughout the phone call and did not speak in a manner that would evoke an attitude like this. When I told her, there was more I need to talk about, as she tried to end the call, she replied “goodbye now, bye, bye, bye”. No questions were answered. Call ended in 1 minute. Why pick up the phone, only to hang up? Very disrespectful.
For urgent care. Still there will be waiting …. Waiting…waiting…. wait until your chance come. Not only this clinic. All over New Zealand this is the condition, because of poor health care service according to the demand. Currently , at this pandemic all healthcare services and the entire health care team working hard to provide better service but my personal opinion is that it is much better if the Government give more attention in healthcare service.
I purely gave a 1 star because I brought my 7 year old in with SOB and Chest Pain, the nurse had said she would get us seen asap because of his WOB and wheeze, after 2 hours of waiting I ask the old lady at reception when would we be seen she replied the nurse had not escalated us to be seen as a priority I explained what the nurse said in triage, I was then told she would ask the nurse when she could, 20mins later I had to ask reception again! After 3 hours of waiting the doctor was very fast and acted within 2 mins of being seen then sent us to hospital.. the fact it took more then 3 hours thing could have taken a turn and that should be addressed because it's not good enough
Went in there because I cut my finger open, there was a lot of blood! But the reception and nurses took care of that straight away which I was extremely thankful for. However I think they need better communication, I was told I could keep the bandaging on during my X-ray but when I went through to get it done I was told to take it off, she stated “they shouldn’t be telling you how I do my job” I don’t care for their work place drama but I thought her attitude was very forward and made me feel extremely uncomfortable… I asked to keep the bandaging on due to the amount of blood that was pouring out of my finger and I was very understanding that she was only trying to do her job. She seemed to get even more mad that I didn’t want to take it off, which escalated to me having a panic attack and a break down because I felt forced. Everyone else reception, nurses and the doctor were all amazing to me and made sure I was comfortable and attended to straight away, my only problem was with the lady who did the X-ray. As her job is to assist, make us feel comfortable and run the X-ray through smoothly without any discomfort. This was not the case.
Zero urgency at the urgent care. I literally had a hole in my leg. Physician was a beauty though. Awesome lady, did a super good job.
Big, and busy. Sometimes the wait time can be ridiculous, in the order of many hours. It's expensive too. The doctors and nurses are lovely, though they seem to be run off their feet. Due to its size they receptionists have to deal with all comers, so the waiting area can be a bit rough. It's always open. Parking is tight and often full close to the entrance. There are related services in the same building complex, which is convenient.
We visited A&E today at 5am. I had a really lovely experience with the reception nurse staff - Simran and Amritose. Also, our doctor Dr. Hardy was amazing and gentle with our 17months old baby. All the staff went above and beyond to help us. I really recommend this A&E.
Just wanted to say thank you to all the staff at Anglesea A and E. Fell off my bike this morning and broke my ankle. From the receptionist, the Triage nurse, radiographer to the Dr and nurses, you were all wonderful. Fantastic care and attention. Would love to say I’ll be coming back but I hope not .
