Wish I had read the reviews prior to buying my lunch from Angkor Bakery today. I felt like a good old sausage roll it tasted most odd; small mince savoury tasteless and a lamington the outer crust was stale; the inner not soft and fluffy like lamingtons should be. The lady was extremely rude. NEVER buy your food from this bakery - I'd say the items were days old and price of the items was high.
The lady serving behind the counter is incredibly rude. The last 3+ times I have been in, she would say "What want" in a very pushy and aggressive tone making me feel rushed into making a decision. Very very poor customer service. Also the Steak, mushroom, and cheese pies only had the tiniest amount of cheese and barely any steak.
Unfortunately very rude woman, butter chicken pie taste like cat food. kindly change your recipe
Overpriced. $6 for a sandwhich… I was in a rush so had to get it for my sons lunch. But $6 for a sandwhich. Not a roll. A sandwhich. Maybe their rolls would be $8. Never ever going there again. Not hating just being honest : tip: if you are going have high prices then rise the quality of your food to that of Pasadena bakery or the daily bread. Those kinda prices are for those places. I avoided Pasadena because I couldn’t afford it and can’t to regret it because your a rip off. Not nice paying good money for standard normal goods.
Small bakery that serves snacks and pie Monday to Saturday.
The sausage roll was very very fatty and stuck to my mouth , the mince pies were awful jelly like had to throw it out the only reason for a two stars was the doughnut was ok but nothing to write about I will never ever come here again and I suggest you don’t either
Rude worker bought a cup noodles for 1.80 and asked for hot water she them said that would be 1$ I said for water and she said this time its free but next time dollar then proceeds to ask for fifty cents for a plastic fork. Won't be going there again try let them eat cake up the road or Pasadena Baker down the road
The lady tells you one price and charges you another … why can’t they just put the real price up instead of playing games?
What you'd expect from a city bakery on a main road. The usual sandwiches and wraps, and basic pastries. Good prices. Clean.
Under new management, the new owners are friendly. The pies and brownies are amazing!!
