We had our first family visit to The Angan last night and we were delighted with the excellent service and food. I highly recommend a visit and will definitely be going back.
The Angan restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves Indian food. From the moment you step in, you are greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the food is simply incredible. The menu is full of delicious options, and everything I've tried has been fantastic. Whether you're a fan of spicy curries or prefer something milder, there is something for everyone at the Angan. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing Indian food experience.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Angan Nepalese & Indian Restaurant, and I must say it was an extraordinary culinary experience. Nestled in a cozy corner of the city, this restaurant flawlessly captures the essence of both Nepalese and Indian cuisines, offering an exquisite blend of flavors, warm hospitality, and an inviting ambiance. As I stepped inside, I was immediately drawn to the beautifully decorated interior, adorned with traditional artwork and soothing colors. The staff greeted me with genuine smiles and guided me to my table, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The menu at The Angan is an enticing journey through the diverse culinary landscapes of Nepal and India. From traditional Nepalese momo dumplings to rich Indian curries, each dish is crafted with care and authenticity. The extensive selection caters to a wide range of preferences, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options, making it a haven for food enthusiasts with different dietary needs. The service throughout my visit was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and eager to provide recommendations based on personal preferences. They were genuinely passionate about the cuisine and took great pride in sharing the stories and origins behind each dish. The Angan Nepalese & Indian Restaurant is a hidden gem that deserves recognition for its outstanding culinary offerings. It captures the authentic flavors of Nepal and India, transporting diners on a journey of taste and culture. Whether you're a connoisseur of Indian cuisine or seeking to explore the lesser-known treasures of Nepalese gastronomy, this restaurant is a must-visit. From the delectable dishes to the warm ambiance and attentive service, The Angan provides an extraordinary dining experience that will undoubtedly leave a lasting impression. I cannot recommend it enough and eagerly look forward to my next visit to savor more of their exquisite creations.
An impromptu visit here last night.. first time. Our meals were attractively presented with very fresh ingredients used. Service was good with staff being polite, helpful and well presented. The Biryani dishes were just a little too spicy for my daughter and myself but maybe that the way of the Nepalese version. It was nice and quiet whilst we were there.. it was early evening.
I have been to the restaurant about 4 or 5 times and it is awesome. I've worked across Asia and India with many having Nepalese chefs. Excellent. Tonight I had a take away delivered and my friend ordered a lamb biryani and I sampled it and it was faultless. I normally avoid lamb as it's often chewy, but this was unbelievably tender and definitely going to have it in the restaurant. Thank you..
This place is a cut above. We used to go regularly to the Dilshad which we loved the friendly service, and the food was good, but the food at Angan is proper good. I don’t think I’ll be experimenting on other places now, found my new curry home. A very welcome addition to Droitwich. We had 3x special mains and each was excellent
First visit to Droitwich and a Nepalese restaurant, what a gem, enjoyed a beautiful meal this evening. Both chicken and salmon dishes plus side dishes were absolutely delicious. Friendly staff, excellent service and very relaxing atmosphere. Certainly will be returning when in the area. :
A very pleasing suprise. An attention to detail in the meal. Pomegranate seeds, coconut flakes and coriander with my onion Bhaji plus mint sauce, mango chutney, olives and pickled sweet drop peppers ! And that’s only the starter. I now know that my tastebuds are working fine , just that my local takeaways in Wales are not to this standard. Well done. Keep it up.
I never usually leave reviews, however I couldn't not leave one here. The food was absolutely incredible, staff was welcoming & friendly and the price for the food was exactly what it should be. Thank you - would highly recommend and we will definitely be returning.Food: 5/5
First visit to a new local restaurant. Very clean, staff friendly and attentive, Cobra chilled and crisp Couple of poppadoms and chutney tray, 2 mains, rice & naan to share, sampled the Momos too. Food was well presented and flavoursome. Well worth a visit.
