At An-Nur, our aim is to provide quality education in a warm and secure environment that works in partnership with parents and whānau. Our teachers offer your child affectionate, skilled care and provide a constant variety of exciting programmes, activities and experiences that promote all areas of development. We give all infants, toddlers and pre-schoolers within our care unlimited opportunities to learn and develop through imagination, creativity and play. By providing a safe, supportive, stimulating and fun environment to explore and discover the world, we encourage children to grow and express themselves to their full potential and be prepared for their lifelong journey of learning.
We are committed to encouraging an inclusive environment with equality and fairness for the multicultural makeup which reflects our local community the children will contribute and be active members of. We are dedicated to supporting peaceful conflict resolution in play attitudes within the centre for all children regardless of gender, ability/special needs, age, socioeconomic background, family make-up, personality, religion or cultural beliefs.
We aim to promote and encourage Te Tiriti o Waitangi. A commitment to the language (Arabic), culture, education and teaching of Islam is a guiding principle of the centre. All families are welcomed!
