Story

Anel Heyman is a talented designer who started creating hats in 2011. She loves wearing hats and became very passionate about this to such an extent that she wanted to create her own hats, rather than having to ask someone else to make them for her. With a love for fashion and her creative touch she has not only discovered a dazzling passion for creating sophisticated designs, but also pursued her dream successfully to start her own millinery line.

With her academic background in graphic design, illustration and millinery courses, Anél has developed a flair and panache for competing with international designers across the globe.

She was featured in the October 2013 issue of the British HATalk E-Magazine as the 'Hat of the Month' and is also a proud 2012 Hatty Award Winner, has personally done designs for well known South African jewellery designer Jenna Clifford and her team, participated in fashion runways such as the Durban July and L'Ormarins Queens Plate, and has also masterfully created designs for many other special events and clients.

Anél’s designs enjoy a simplistic elegance and an exclusive creativity. Her creations are individualistic and contain a classic beauty with timeless elegance.
