Story

ADG101 is a formalised Peer Support Group who currently has over 70 active members. It is a Drop-in and Activity Centre run by consumers of the Mental Health Services for the sake of people who have experienced mental illness and have been and/or are still in the care of the Mental Health Services. ADG101’s mission is to provide a safe and secure environment, for self-directed recovery. We strive to build people’s personal choice and responsibility in order to assist them to relate to their environment and find their place in Society.
There are always at least 2 staff members on the floor for members to unload their concerns and provide an empathetic ear for those who may not have anyone in their life that understands the challenges they face having a mental health and/or addiction issue. Members are also encouraged to come together and support other members at ADG101.
