We were looking for something different to eat, and it was nice to see this Mexican restaurant. The interior looks fabulous, there is a great Mexican atmosphere.nnEasy to order with the QR code on the table, and the food was quick at our table. The staff is very friendly too.nnThe food is really delicious, can only recommend!
Came for Taco Tuesday $6 for any soft tacos including specials and it was worth it. Will recommend pulled pork. Downside is the tacos are cold/not hot, and some of the meats are not the best they can be eg. Fried squid was chewy, pork belly and duck skin not crispynnAlso the restaurant seems severely understaffed even at late 2pm, hence service is understandably slow. Theres definitely room for improvement but overall still value for money only on Taco Tues
Great lunch here, very good service and yum food. They also have a million allergy friendly options. Would go back definitely. I had the burrito el normal with guacamole, delicious.
Had a great 3 course meal tonight, full of flavour and good value for money. The blonde waitress from Kaikoura was wonderful and made the experience fantastic. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
What a perfect way to wrap up a hard day of biking! Our group of four hit Amigos in Wānaka during March 2025 for Taco Tuesday, and the whole experience was absolutely spot-on. From the warm greeting at the door through to the incredible food and drinks, everything was outstanding.nnWe’re huge fans of Mexican food and have tried just about every spot around—but Amigos truly stood out. The drinks were refreshing, the tacos were delicious, and every bite was spot on. Special shoutout to the staff who were welcoming, friendly, and made the evening even better.nnHighly recommend making this your go-to spot for Taco Tuesday!
