I chose AMI Motorhub as my preferred insurer repairer because of their good reputation, but my experience was an absolute nightmare.nnAfter my insurer quickly approved the repairs, I was told the job would only take a couple of days. Instead, AMI Motorhub held my car for 10 days doing absolutely nothing. I called multiple times explaining that I desperately needed my vehicle for work, but the staff just brushed me off and gave me the runaround every single time.nnWhen they finally gave me an update, they claimed the wheels were easy to find, but the two new tires would take three weeks to arrive.nnFed up with the lack of progress, I cancelled the job, called my insurer, and took matters into my own hands.nnThe reality check:nnI sourced the tires overnight from a local Auckland supplier myself, managed to arrange the repair right away, and it is being done tomorrow—just one day after towing the car back to my house.nnThe independent quote I got myself was also significantly cheaper than the inflated price AMI Motorhub attempted to charge my insurer.nnBecause of their carelessness and total lack of urgency, I wasted 10 days without a car and had to go through the hassle of arranging two tow trucks out of my own pocket one to get the car there and one to bring it back to my property just to get my vehicle away from them. This is an incredibly unprofessional way to treat customers. Do not trust them with your vehicle, your time, or your money.
Just had my car done today and I really love the finished piece. My car looks brand new again. The team at hobsonville motorhub is super friendly and helpful. They keep you in the loop and contact you for reminders and things. So glad I made the right decision to have thrm repair my car. Thank you so much.
Came in for a WOF recently. The staff at the front desk are helpful and friendly and the amenities and waiting room are comfortable. Free drinks and snacks are a nice touch. However I was scheduled for 12:30 PM and expecting it would only take about 30 mins, but I ended up being there until well after 2pm...
Very respectful staff, made the process as easy and comfortable as getting a broken asset repaired could be. Got things done pretty swiftly too which is always great.nnCoffee in the waiting room and a decent courtesy car to take back for the duration of the fix.nnSometimes there are delays, but they'll keep in touch and let you know when things are ready to move ahead.
What an excellent experience I have here at Motorhub AMI hobsonville!nI must award the team here 10/5 stars!nSpecial mention of the following -n1 Mr Terry who saw my vehicle n detailed attention to it.. part promised when sourced then I’ll return for it to be fitted on my left door 5/5 starsn2 Mr Tarquin who is so personal warm friendly and excellent communication letting me know why my WOF unfortunately has failed. Sad face.. a reasonable quote was given to me immediately to take stress off me plus allowing me to video his fair n clear explanation 10/5 starsn3 Mr Boris who who had not just completed vehicle check but also gave my car a clean! I’m so pleasantly surprised by this and won’t hesitate to recommend plus return for all vehicle servicing needs from hereon. 10/5 stars.nnTHANKS a million for making this trip worth every cent n more!
