This is a DEFINITE stop for the BEST pies. Amberley Pies has definitely mastered the perfect pies! The crust is perfect with a flaky yet perfect crispiness. The fillings are filled to the perfect consistency. They have mastered an even consistency of every ingredient inside. Hands down this place won our hearts & vote for the BEST PIES we had on our 2 weeks in NZ. I definitely recommend you make this 1 of your stops.
These pies are hands down some of the best you’ll get in NZ. If you’re serious about your pies you need to try them! Very friendly customer service too! Next time we are in Amberley I’m definitely coming back!
Spotted this shop as we were passing through Amberley, so glad we did. Definitely the best pies we have had so far on our tour of NZ, and also a great range of fillings. Highly recommend the pork and caramelised onion!
Rosemary and Lamb pie, chicken and cranberry for Mum. Eccles cake and a delicious cherry ripe style brownie meant we just needed a good coffee and we were all sorted! Worth the detour around the corner off State Highway 1.
Hands down one of the best pies I've had. The pastry was flaky and buttery. The steak and cheese pie had a tasty cheese crust on top. Filling inside was perfectly seasoned, generous amount of steak and cheese. This bakery should win the Bakels New Zealand Supreme Pie Awards!
