Disappointing - lack of service. I received a text saying I had an appointment booked - this was news to me as I certainly hadn't booked any appointment. Sure enough logged into the online portal to see a booking. Question - who made this booking? I cancelled the booking. I then sent an email via the 'contact us' on the medical centre webpage- to receive an automated response. My request was to remove the incorrect entry from my records. A simple request as we are entitled to have any errors corrected under the Privacy Act. However there has been no response from this organisation and checking online the erroneous appointment remains. The questions that remain - who assigned an appointment?Was or has the online portal been hacked? Why have a contact us email if you are not going to respond - shows a total lack of respect towards your customers and why hasn't my request been actioned?n3 Nov 2025: Amazing 'contact us' no response. Google review - you get a response. Check email sent Sept 16 at 14.31hours. Read the review and the email. The issue is very clear. I don't need to ring to repeat myself.
Visited here twice, first Dr was good. Second doctor completely dismissed me with no help after expressing how much pain I have from a chest cough that's being continuous for over 10 days. I'm still in huge amounts of pain coughing up all the time it's been 3 weeks. I'm pretty disgusted I've just been left to suffer this with no help after I visited.
Ive been with AMC for over 4 years now and love the service they provide in North Canterbury. The staff are all very accommodating and helpful. I know my family are in good hands.
This is a great medical centre. I moved to Amberley 2 years ago. I initially saw Dr Deidre Clink who was excellent. She has now moved on. Recently I’ve had 2 consultations with Doctor Geraldine Treveller ? Spelling and again had excellent professional friendly consultations. I’ve also had 2 emergency appointments with both nurses and other doctors and on both occasions I received nothing but excellent treatment. The front office staff are also bright, cheerful and helpful. Highly recommend.
Me and my friends we went to for swimming on the Christmas time. After I feel pain in my ear. I couldn’t hear very well. I got the water inside in my ear. I tried to clear but I couldn’t it was worst. Next day I wanted to go to medical centre on Boxing Day. But mostly medical centers was closing. I came here with my friend. Here also was closing door but we knocked the ring and came to door the nurse. I was very happy. I told my problem. She listened me very carefully. But she said “unfortunately today doctors don’t work and I can’t do anything” but she told me very good clue for solve this problem. And after we solved this problem with my friend. I don’t ask her name but she is very friendly and welcoming. Thank you so much again. I am very happy. She worked on Boxing Day almost lunch time. She is very good.
