Altitude Martinborough Accommodation

All I can say is WOW!!! These apartments are SO lush - from the plush carpet to the finishing little touches! No expense has been spared restoring this beautiful historic building and furnishing it to such a luxurious standard! Location is amazing with everything you could want on your doorstep. You also get free use of the bicycles which is a huge plus for me! Booking process was also super easy! I will definitely be returning and recommending to friends!

Fabulous location for a weekend getaway. Studio was exactly as described, sparkling clean and superb accommodation. Highly recommend and will stay again.

Best kept secret? Not sure how we found this place, its not on Trip Advisor or most other booking sites, but this place is AMAZING! Located right in the centre, opposite the main hotel, above some boutique shops, with only 2 rooms available. This is not a hotel, the rooms are managed by the wine store next door I think. The rooms are exceptional, large yet cozy, modern yet boutiquey, comfortable bed, even the carpet was cushiony. Note the free use of bikes too so you can cycle the wineries without having to hire from somewhere else. FANTASTIC accomodation and not too pricey either.

Absolutely terrible service. I tried over a period of three days to book this apartment. When the woman found out it was just myself and my 5 year old daughter, she refused to book us in because she wanted a reservation for 4 people to secure a higher rate per night. She then told me that the apartment wasn't suitable for children when I, very politely, challenged her on this. If the apartment wasn't suitable for children, why did she continue to entertain my reservation request when she already knew that I was bringing my daughter? She only refused when she realised we would only be 2 people and she would make less money. Additionally, if the accommodation doesn't allow children it should be clearly stated on the website which I'm sure she will now change. Beyond it all, the woman in charge of renting out this property was unpleasant, curt and difficult to communicate with. Perhaps that's why they have a plethora of availability during March busy season.
