Beautiful chill environment with good coffee and food. Highly recommend Hazelnut Mocha and Seafood Risotto, and both are super delicious! Lamb shank's a bit dry but potato rosti is crispy and yum. Chocolate Moussecake is soft but of not much taste. Food is of small portion and pricy, but good service though.
Really friendly service, staffs fast and very helpful. Nice environment with unique decorations. Recommend the seafood risotto and pork belly. Blueberry white tea taste really refreshing too.
More cafe's should do a smaller version of their breakfast options, really appreciated having the option if you're not super hungry for a massive meal. The cauli fritters were really yum and a great healthy choice that leaves you completely satisfied : great spot
Business meeting. Food is expensive and my meeting business partner struggled to be understood that he wanted a big breakfast but vege instead of meat choice s. Hilariously he ended up with scrambled eggs on toast with extra hash browns. I stuck to the classic bene. We had cake. Coffee was divine.Food: 5/5
This is a local favourite with consistently good coffee and food and lovely staff. My waffles this morning were a little piece of art. Also try the caramelised onion scones! Parking is generally easier than in the heart of Mt Eden village.
Great atmosphere and plenty of comfy seating. Parking right in front of Cafe . The berry danish was Delish and so was the hot chocolate. Will be back again Kid-friendliness: There are special kid teddies and pillows on the seating.
$38 for steak sandwich: sourdough bread , 5-6 slices of Scotch fillet steak, small caramelized onion, pesto. Food: 4/5
Servers seemed confused with what they're supposed to do and how orders are to be taken. Do you take orders at the counter or at the table? And at the end, one of us was served the wrong coffee. Other than that, we liked the atmosphere and the banana bread was really good!
Staff are very accommodating very Prompt with drinks and food. Presentation out of this world. There's even free doggy treats for your four legged companion. Parking: 6 parking spots, 1 disabilities spot
Sometimes it is the simpliest things that make all the difference when you are out for a coffee. And today it was as simple as the Altar staff being attentive, happy and cheerful and looking after customers in a manner that is often lost these days. And that often doing a job well is rewarding in and of itself. And it is appreciated.Food: 4/5
