I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!!!nnI felt like I was in a dream coming in. The host was so lovely and welcoming as he put aside his task and served me, showed me around the very well organized and labeled rooms. The fridge, pantry and cupboards are all labeled so perfectly. Everything is absolutely tidy. The showers were so nice and hot. The beds were super clean and cozy. It was nice and quiet here. 100% recommend to everyone to atleast stay here one night. I regret not spending more than one night in this place.
Had a great, one night stay at Altamonte Lodge. It's very clean and comfortable with an easy going vibe. We hung out in the backyard in the evening, and walked a few blocks to the lake for an evening stroll. We made breakfast in the shared kitchen in the morning. I highly recommend this low cost option in Wanaka.
This was very clean and had a laundry and big kitchen lounge area,walking distance to the town and friendly owners but noisy people in rooms either side of us first night a screaming baby which the parents didn't seem to hear but we in the next room could clearly ...the second night late arrivals who wanted to argue with each other and slam doors.nNot a great couple of nights sleep...the actual accommodation and set up was good
the stay here was amazing! only stayed for 1 night sadly, but the host was really welcoming and made sure we have a pleasant stay. room was clean, bed was comfortable to sleep in, even the shared toilet is really clean. room was really spacious and private! we didn't get to use the kitchen as we didn't cook but it was big enough for people to gather and eat. really near to Roy's peak as well if anyone is planning to hike. would love to come and stay here again next time!
The location is good. Very close to the Wānaka tree. The whole area is very clean, tidy and organized. I especially like that the kitchen is very well equipped.
