We stumbled onto this little gem in the town of Cambridge and it was an absolute 10/10. The octopus and Italian sausage entrée was outstanding — a totally unique flavour-bomb combination that really surprised us in the best way.nThe pizza was pure perfection, and the side of green salad was fresh and beautifully balanced. A special mention for the zucchini — deliciously crunchy with that perfect char from the grill.nA truly special little place in a very cute town. We’d happily go back again and again.
Lovely meal. House flatbread is nice and the balsamic vinegar with olive oil is nice too. Mozzarella ball is always nice for sure. Octopus cooked alright. Maybe the menu could recommend a few pairings to the customers to max the flavour. But it’s a chef’s job
I took a group of 8 ladies to Alpino on Saturday for a Luxe Day Out for my business Her Luxe Travel and we had a phenomenal time. Not only were Alpino great to work with to set up how I wanted the experience, on the day they delivered 110%. The food was to die for, service was friendly and efficient. We were sat in the area at the front that is somewhat closed off from the rest of the restaurant and it couldn't have been more perfect. Definitely glad I've chosen Alpino for my Retreat welcome lunches
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The margarita was absolutely excellent — perfectly balanced and one of the best I’ve had in a long time.nWhat truly made the night special was the service. Jose was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional, always making sure everything was perfect without being intrusive. You can tell he genuinely cares about the guests’ experience.nAlso, huge shoutout to Santi, the bartender — fantastic energy and top-level cocktails.nGreat drinks, outstanding service, and a really welcoming atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others.
It was a catch up with some very well wined and dined family members and was a thoroughly enjoyable venue with great food.Between us we had various fish and steak starters and mains with fries and salad accompaniments with the cheese and honeycomb board and tiramisu to finish. The beef eye fillet was served with brocollini and mash, and was up with the best I've ever had. The tiramisu was probably not quite my style, but there's no denying it was beautifully creamy and tasty.nnThe wait staff were great and the somellier or waitron that gave us the info about the wine was very knowledgeable and gave great recommendations. The staff were present without hovering, so thank you for that!nnWhile the drink and food menu is not extensive, the selections are well chosen and it's unlikely that you won't find something to tickle your taste buds. Moreover, the bar was happy to accommodate requests like lychee tequila, so if you don't find exactly what you want, you might still be able to get it specially prepared.nnThe atmosphere is relaxed but upmarket. In the spirit of that being the intention, I've rated the atmosphere five stars, but don't expect white table cloths and silverware.
