Specifically booked a 2 bedroom downstairs apartment and told them I wanted downstairs as booked direct and was given 3 bedroom so had to lug luggage upstairs. Then spa wouldn't work , no lights by spa no lights on path so we walked down road as couldn't see how else to get there. Another guest found the buttons had been disconnected and got bubbles going but no jets. Light in games room didn't work. Would be good if facilities worked and we had downstairs apartment as requested
Modern, spacious accommodation in a holiday village with a nice view and facilities such as swimming pools. Out-of-town, requiring wheels or a 30 minute walk to get to shops and restaurants. Comfortable with a full kitchen and a garage but only basic furnishings. Lacking ambience.
Clean and safe accommodations. Showers were goid and the beds comfortable. We drove in late and they made easy arrangements to get into our rooms. Highly recommend.
Clean spacious apartments located a few minutes from the main town centre of Wanaka.nnSadly our stay was marred by the some aircon upgrades happening in the other units. We weren't told of this until check-in. Sadly upon arrival we could not even rest up due to the noise which continues for 3 days with intermittent drilling and hammering. Really, we should have been told of this in advance at a minimum - since upgrades like this would have been planned.nnSome other minor grievances would include the outdoor pathway lights which were extremely bright think of it as if someone has their headlights shining into the room. They do turn off at about 12 midnight though. If you want complete darkness at night, ask for a room without the bright outdoor lights!
Excellent accommodation with stunning views. High standard of rooms complete with full kitchen, washing machine and dryer. For touring these apartments are perfect for spending a few days in Wanaka. Lovely and helpful staff in reception too.
