This place is a little gem! The lavender field itself is beautiful and it was quiet when we visited so we had the place to ourselves to get some amazing pictures! But the real value is in the owners, Roger and Judy, who are clearly so passionate about the lavender and are just incredibly kind and informative.
Highly recommended! We had a wonderful experience in the farm. The place was not busy at that time compare to other lavender farms we've been to especially it's summer season. The lady was so lovely for letting us take some photos around the place for free and even lent her beautiful umbrella for us to use while taking photos. The guy in the shop was so nice and knowledgeable. He has all the answer about the item, just don't ask too much or you will end up buying for more . They got a good variety of lavender products, which I love because it is all natural . We just missed the ice cream We will come back that's for sure!
Amazing lavender farm. You can get various lavender products here. Several lavender beauty products like face wash, perfumes, lip balm, lavender oil etc are available here. We bought Rewarewa running honey which has a rich aroma and taste. Has to pay $10 as a parking fee.
The owners were magic hosts, informative and helpful. They charmed the entire family and we were delighted with the shop the quality, range and affordability for their premium products was outstanding. The lavender rows were the stars of tge show. The Lavender Farm gave off cottage-core vibes all around From entrance, you are greeted with sweet-smelling lavender and friendly, smiling hosts. The lavender shop was stocked with a plethora of handmade lavender products - from incense and soaps to diffusers. You definitely have to try their lavender honey and icecream
I visited the farm with my family and dog and we have a very good time. It was a great place to spend 1h walking around and get a bit of a tour of how the lavander is harvested, distilled, and utilised. Roger and Judy were super friendly and they are great conversation. Roger even got the hose out and watered our dog as it was very hot outside. The shop has some little gems and you can even buy lavender plants and grown them yourself.
We are grateful to the hosts in showing us the farm and how lavenders are harvested. Great products from this farm that’s all natural and well priced !!
It is a small farm with lovely owners. They have a small shop where you could get stuff from soap, eye pads, essential oil, etc made from lavender at ok prices. It was on our way from waitomo caves to rotorua.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
Beautiful farm and lovely owner, definitely worth a visit
Julie & Roger are so nice and warm. And super talented. They have made a plethora of wonderful lavender based/ infused products from their own lavender farm. Soap, lip balm, body lotion, insect repellent, scented candles, dry scrub, lavender honey icecream the absolute best, lavender honey highly recommended and plenty more to add to the list. Definitely a worthy pit stop here!
