Definitely disappointed in our stay, rooms don’t look like the photos at all. Not a nice smell at all. When we arrived there’s a sing saying pools closed and spa was open. Spa was absolutely cold, not a nice stay at all. Definitely would get refund and go else where. Safety: Close to town
We booked a studio room for 3 nights but only stayed for one. Others seemed to be enjoying the place, there’s a working spa and a games room. It just wasn’t for us as the “cons” outweighed the “pros,” of this place. Pros: - Stove, microwave and jug work - Spacious room - Daily housekeeping - Electric blanket to keep warm - Very cheap to stay Cons: - Pool is unusable - The entire motel needs a deep clean - The kitchen especially needs a deep clean, dirty microwave and stove - One of the tea towels had dead insects on them - We were very itchy the next morning, I had a rash down my neck and bites on my face. My partner had bites on her legs and arms - As soon as you open the door, there is a strange smell throughout the room - Driveway needs some attention - Room gets quite cold at night, no heat pump or heater I spoke to the guy before we left, pest control was done 6 months ago. He is very friendly and by the looks of the place probably isn’t in a position to offer a refund so we didn’t talk about it.
Will never ever stay here again. The place is definitely out dated, and disgusting. Service was appalling. The room had 2 beds in it a double and a single, the single bed had a broken leg, it and looked to be taped together with bandaids. Light bulbs blown the ranch slider needed to be lifted to open and close it. The worst place to stay, I do not recommend
DO NOT BOOK!!!! Stayed here for 1 night. The room smelt damp and like it had been cleaned with ammonia. There were stains all over the curtains, the fridge was filthy and smelly. Stains on the ceilling. We jumped in the pool and started to notice how unclean it was once in there. Apparently the day before it was completely green and slimy. The spa was filthy, games room was smelly and dusty. Looked like there had been some recent sewer issues on the grass next to the pool. The room was over priced when we booked in person and then we noticed it $150 cheaper on the website and querried it, and then the cheap price disappeared from the website. Terrible customer service.
The sheets were clean and that was the only positive. We had booked 2 nights on the second night there was a fight in the unit above us went on for a while. Crashing and yelling for about 30 minutes! Unbelievable not a single word was said the next morning the manager just walked straight past. Really disappointed. We will definitely never stay here again. I’d rather sleep in the car.
Worst place I’ve ever stayed in - would rather a lovely campsite with no amenities than risking getting a skin infection or scabies outbreak from this place. All we were looking for was a comfortable bed, clean rooms, a working kitchen and a working usable pool and spa as promised. Terrible facilities, literally everything was broken from the beds to the pots to the taps to the sofa beds and fridge. Pool was out of service and the spa was operating however I went to check the temperature and pulled out my hand and it was slimy. Mould on the sofa beds, springs poking out of every bed, half the hobs on the stove didn’t work and no point asking the staff as they made every ask feel like a huge inconvenience. All we asked for was a bed that wasn’t broken and they replied saying they had no spare mattresses…..no spare mattresses at a motel??? insane. One tiny toilet with no ventilation right in the centre of the apartment. You can imagine how this played out with 5 guests in every room… I went to a nearby cafe in the morning to go to the toilet instead because it was such an awful setup… Would never stay here again and wish I’d read the reviews on here before going because clearly everyone else feels the same.
Couldn't stay one night. Booked for 4 nights, arrived at 3pm on the first day, left by 10pm. We chose to sleep in the car instead. Checked out first thing in the morning. First impressions were very run down, smell of damp/mould. As time went on, I found more stains on bed and carpets. Towel rack wasn't attached to the wall when we entered. After sitting on the couch, we felt like bugs were crawling over us and had to wash clothes after leaving. Found 2 colonies of bugs under the bed, couch, and TV unit. Told staff reasons for leaving early and they didn't care or apologise.
Worst place I’ve stayed in. Room had no airflow so that meant it was boiling hot with one fan. Very unclean with cobwebs everywhere. There was old dirty underwear on the ground outside our back porch. The swimming pool was very dirty and badly maintained. The spa was barely hot and dirty. When we were still using the room prior to checking out some random cleaner began cleaning our room and in our way not to mention was very rude. After I checked out, I left my Air Force one shoes in our room and when we went to get them back the same cleaner took my shoes and didn’t tell the manager. Don’t trust the staff or the manager. Just bad service. Rooms: Very disappointing. Not cleaned at all. The cobwebs and spiders on ceilings, walls and doors was horrendous.
This place has potential only. Very dated to the point its almost run down. 1st room had loo paper under the bed. Asked for another room ,paid a little more and canceled the 2nd night. We got a partial refund on the 2nd night. I'd never stay here again. Just everything smells weird inside too. 1 room completely smashed up, door was left open all night. Shows you they care about stuff huh. My last holiday too Rooms: Dated, mould smell, worn down stuff inside
Very disappointing. Relatively clean, but old and run down, no maintenance. The bed rocked and pillows lumpy. Lounge unusable, your butt hit wooden frame, the stuffing fallen out below. One lidless pot and one frying pan with dubious handle. No smoke alarm - is that legal. Shower curtain too short and hot water tap doesn't turn off. About time some money was invested!
