Lovely coffee on a sunny Sunday midday. Had a mocha that was a great balance of chocolate and coffee and not too sweet and husband's latte was the best he has had in a while.nKind, polite and fast service. Would definitely come back again if we are in the area again!
I had a small latte. No sugar. First coffee of the day when it opened at 7am. On a wet and windy Wednesday morning. I had already been on a zoom call with Canada for half an hour at the beach. It was an embracing oasis. I sat at the singular table outside and my coffee was delivered to me. Nice chap who I assume appreciated I was on a call and knew I needed minimal interaction. But as I took my call I saw him have friendly banter with dog walkers and tradies alike who came to him to help start their days. Not all heroes wear capes.
Very cute spot right off the beach. The lady running the place was super friendly and obviously knew the locals well!! The coffee was delicious probably because they use Raglan beans and the price was great. We will come again if we’re in the area again.
The consistency of the coffee Daniel makes at this cafe is the reason I come here. The guy is an asset. Unfortunately a mixed bag of coffees from the younger staff.
Always a good cuppa from Aloha. We usually like getting either a cappucino or hot choccy or both. This place consistently does a beautiful hot choccy - the best I’ve had in Porirua. Also recommend trying the salted caramel donut in their cabinet - its divine!nnThey also allow you to byo cups and have their own mugs for you to use to help with waste. To top it off, the cafe doubles as a small gallery that sells beautiful jewellery snd homeware.
