I got one large real fruit ice cream that was a third of the size of many regular real fruit ice creams I’ve bought in the past and it cost an arm and a leg!! $11.50 for a bland small ice cream!
The ice cream is so nice so much good flavours to choose from. Staff are super friendly and helpful. And a nice and organised shop. Would definitely be going back!
Gina was awesome. I arranged a goodie hamper for a friend, her hubby and her mum to enjoy. Communication was fast and straight forward and the items selected were electric and thoughtful. I would definitely recommend abd will be sure to stop by again.
Came here today as usually love this place and would have given 5 stars on quality alone but i bought an ice cream with a mate, usually a good cherry homey feel but was greeted by a young girl only to witness how rude she was to her fellow staff members and infront of customers. She didnt wait till I was even done paying for it before rudely announcing out loud that she only serves and wont make the ice creams cause that's not her job. And to top it off I payed for 2x mediums and got the size of a single. Tand feel cheated tasted great but the service needs work sorry to say
We were served by 3 young girls, two of them were very nice but one in particular was very rude. The sizes of our real fruit ice creams were inconsistent, and one of the ice creams had paper with writing, INSIDE the ice cream. When I took it back to let them know what I just ate the two nice girls apologised and offered another one but the young rude girl asked if I dropped my ice cream somewhere, I walked away shocked due to her very rude response. I will never take my family back there again.
Visiting from San Francisco, I was delighted when I saw an organic food shop in Tairua. It’s small, but they have the essential items of a natural food store. I bought rice crackers, plums, ginger chews, and tried the fresh fruit ice cream with mango. DELICIOUS! And yes - they have non-dairy vegan options. The base is coconut milk. The girl making my ice cream offered to wash the machine to make sure there was no cross-contamination. Excellent service. The guy behind the counter was open-hearted, kind, funny and friendly. I felt so welcomed to NZ. [Only suggestion to the owner - remove those chip baskets off the floor so there’s more room for folks waiting for their ice creams. It’s hard to get into the store or determine who’s waiting to order and who’s waiting on their order. A little Feng Shui goes a long way.] Excited to go back tomorrow and try a smoothie!
We stopped and had a yoghurt ice-cream and it was one of the nicest I've had! Very friendly lady behind the counter, and the shop was filled to the brim with interesting organic food items and health care products. Highly recommend.
Incredibly overpriced real fruit icecreams and rather bland too. I could buy my son darren a birthday present for that sort of money, although I cannot anyway as my ex wife has full custody of him, what has happened to this country. Stanworth gives this establishment a one mark ruffalo out of 5.
Amazing ice creams, So many flavors and alternative options like the vegan dairy free coconut ice cream and gluten free waffle cones . Highly recommend
Really good fruits ice Cream but every two times i got there they miss my order or swap it with someone else.. That's a shame because its yummy but for 18$ 2 ice Cream and only 2 customers in the Shop please try to do the good combination on the 1st try
