Jane and Lesley have created a gem in Greytown. Make sure to visit for delicious wine by the bottle/glass or do a tasting paddle to try a variety and then pick your favourite. The food platters were amazing. We will be back as often as possible.
Lovely. Love the tasting paddle where you choose your wines. Fabulous food. Nice setting for a relaxing afternoon.
We stopped here for wine tasting and lunch and it was one of our favorite experiences in New Zealand. The wines were excellent, the Ploughwoman's platter was one of the better charcuterie type platters I've ever had, and the service and setting were fantastic. Keep in mind this is more of an urban setting, not out in the vines, but it's a lovely, comfortable setting and the wines are excellent. I would absolutely visit here again if in the area.
Alexia is a spot 5 mins walk down the road and an amazing atmosphere. Garden is developing well and the venue is a working winery which makes it an interesting little spot. Amazing food options with wines and the wines are quite unique. Amazing little winery !
We were so excited to visit Alexia for the first time this year, after our last 2024 Summer of regular visits . Lesley, as usual, was so friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming for our party of 4 adults, one 2 year old and pet dog. It was lovely to spend some time with family, sipping your lovely The Weaver 2024 wine, and chilling in the fantastic Greytown sunshine Thanks so much. We will definitely see you again! x
