Stunning vineyard setting and beautiful interior decor and lighting in restaurant. We went there for their 2 course set menu for dinner for a very reasonable $45 per person. We had the mixed meat platter as a starter which was delicious, then the Crying Tiger Steak for mains. The steak was beautfully cooked on a fire grill, but bit disappointed with the broccoli and peas it was served with. I've never seen peas served with a good steak. The veg looked like it was just boiled, nothing fancy about it. Would've been nicer if the veg was fancied up a bit and given more flavour or replaced with a tasty salad instead. For dessert we had the sorbet ice cream plus the fried banana served with ice cream. The fried banana was amazing! The service was average, but one waiter in particular was very friendly and chatty. Great to see the restaurant was busy.
This place is cute. We booked ahead of time and I recommend it as this place is usually booked out. This time it was rather quiet. The platter we ordered was delicious, our team of 10+ was very happy with the food Servers were very friendly and happy to help. Was a nice place to end the night. Recommend.
Wow. Amazing place!! My friend and I went away for Girls Weekend and we went to Luna for lunch. We had the set menu with wine. It was sooo yummy! Beautiful outdoor area. I will definitely be back 100% recommend
I have attended a wedding here. Nice location. Everything looks amazing. The staff are nice. I am not into wine but i think the wine taste okay and i enjoyed it. I drunk about 3 bottles and didn’t get drunk. I don’t have any complaints. I strongly recomend this place.
We have been regular patrons over the last 5 years. We are always greeted with a smile. They offer excellent service and delicious food, plus the venue is situated in a beautiful park like setting. A perfect location for a special occasion.
Pretty setting....food beautiful with delicious asian flavors and good wines.Definitely reccommend this winery.
Overall not a good experience. Set up on a table inside and then got asked to move outside to have our lunch there. We happily moved outside but when we got cold we asked to be moved inside. Although our booking was made for inside and they had several free tables we were told this was not possible by one member of staff. We asked a second member who said she would move us inside no problem. She forgot about moving us inside until she was walking out with our food. We then moved inside. The food was not served together. 4 out 5 steaks were served cold. After having the wine tasting we were never asked if we would like wine or water with our main meal. Although cold the food was tasty and they were very understanding of a nut allergy. Will not be recommending to my friends.
I had a wonderful birthday lunch at Luna yesterday. The food and wine were excellent as usual, not to mention the staff who were friendly, efficient and skilled, as has always been the case in my experience. The new menu is spot on and full of treats for all palates. Highly recommend.
I have had great food and service at luna in the past. However our experience on Friday for lunch was incredibly disappointing. The food was awful to say the least , some of it barely edible. Most of our food went uneaten and when we commented to the staff at the end of the meal there was no response at all. I will not be returning anytime soon & definitely could not recommend to anyone else. Very sorry to say this because you have a lovely venue and the wine is delicious.
We have 7 people having lunch last weekend 4 adults and 3 children. Luna is very suitable for families and kids friendly. The Asian style menu is also very diverse.
