Apart from no window dressings covering the whole front of the unit it was a nice place,clean easy to get to and in a great location. When on hols you don't want to be woken up at 5 30 am as there are no curtains or blinds. Would I stay again probably not as that ruined the stay.i had to shift a bed into a darker room just to get some deep.comparing it to other places I think there are better options I contacted Mary the owner and was thanked for my comment.
Beautiful place. Quiet and calming, with a lovely host. Short walk to the Britomart Monument with amazing views up the harbour. We saw two little Hector’s dolphins playing in the bay just below. We were in the penthouse suite and the harbour views were worth it!

I had the chance to have two separate stays at this amazing property on the beach at Akaroa. This was an awesome experience and one I would recommend to anybody looking for somewhere to stay in the beautiful township of Akaroa just outside of Christchurch.Rooms: 5/5
Beautiful location across the road on the waterside. We stayed in the Seaview apartment from 11-14 Oct 2018. Well equipped kitchen and nice bed and very good laundry facilities. Quit and only local traffic. Easy walk to the center of Akaroa. Unfortunately I only met our host Maria very briefly the second day in the hallway upstairs.
The view is lovely, and the location is quiet. It's a 15-20 minute walk to town, but there is a set of steps close by if you want to walk down to the water. It's a bit rocky to really be much of a swimming beach though! The shower has good water pressure and is nice and hot, but it's unusual to me that no shampoo, conditioner or other toiletries are provided. Overall the room is clean and pleasant, but the furnishings do look somewhat old and dated - one of the floor lamps had a broken shade and the decor were very dusty. Don't leave the windows open or you will get eaten alive by mosquitoes as there are no screens. A shame as a bit of fresh air would have been enjoyable.
We spent 3 nights in The Sea View Appartment. . The place is just fantastic ..warm with a great gas fireplace a great kitchen with plenty of resources. Fantastic view from the lounge and deck ..comfortable bed and quality linens and bedding. . We will stay again so no more going to Heritage Cottages for us .
Perfect location with great water views and an easy walk along the waterfront to the town center. Very spacious and spotlessly clean. Great bed. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. Excellent laundry facilities.
We loved staying here the accommodation was clean and spacious, and the view was amazing. The host was friendly and happy to help, and we ended up staying at extra night! Definitely recommend :
Terrific! Everything it says it's going to be. Super clean and welcoming. A great view and right next to the beach.
