A designated national treasure, and originally operated from Te Anau in the 1960`s, this 1943 De Havilland Dragon Rapide celebrates the golden era of luxury air travel in style. An 8 seater with spectacular viewing windows, the Rapide is every bit the elegant aviation experience, complete with inflight commentary, photo opportunities and elegant vehicle transfers to and from the airfield. $195 per person. Allow 2.5 hours for your experience, includes 30 minutes flight time. Departures from Te Anau at 2.30pm, 5.30pm Monday to Saturday and upon request. Experiences subject to minimum numbers and favourable weather.
