This place is easy to find and can accommodate up to four cars on a fairly quiet road. Be careful not to park in the private car park across the road because of the prominent towing threats. The viewpoint has a more or less unobstructed view of the entire length of the runway.

A fantastic spot for kids who love planes. Watching aircraft take off and land is endlessly entertaining, and the lookout is well set up for families. Easy to access, safe, and a fun way to spend some time before or after flights.
Cool place to go within a minute from home. It's a perfect place to go when weather is good. You can see full view of Wellington here.
