Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough, luxury, boutique accommodation in a stunning location. Graham & Lisa are authentic, wonderful hosts. I recommend the upgraded room package, beautiful canapes and drinks, access to the lodge facilities and the most yummy homecooked breakfast. I also booked the add on dinner too which was delicious. There is so much to do in the local area but I didn’t want to leave the lodge! And a bonus that small friendly dogs are welcome too, Amazing! Can’t wait to come back in winter and sit by the lodge fire and watch a movie in the huge cinema room.
What a find! A beautiful, purpose-built lodge with a fantastic atmosphere, great facilities loved the media room and pool room and friendly, casual hosts that made you feel so welcome but were never hovering at your shoulder. Icing on the cake was that well-behaved doggies were welcome too. Even had a dog basket in the immaculate, new guest cabins. We will definitely be coming back!
Ahuru House is incredible! The accomodation was spacious and spotless, with great décor and crisp bed sheets. The breakfast was delicious! Graham and Lisa were attentive and went out of their way to ensure that we were comfortable. We had the best stay and cannot wait to return.
If your wanting to escape for a weekend, then check out Ahuru House. My husband and i enjoyed a lovely weekend there. The beds are to die for!!! The rooms are spacious and well equiped with coffee and tea facilities and home made shortbread. The indoor out door flow is inviting and we relaxed with a nice bottle of vino to watch the spectacular sun set. The bathrooms are modern. The hosts lisa and Graeme were warm and welcoming. Would definitely recommend forbthat romantic weekend away. Deb

As a delightful touch, we were greeted with buttery vanilla shortbread, adding a sweet note to the stay. Pet-friendly amenities make it a great spot for furry friends, while the stunning views outside elevate the experience to new heights. Lisa and Graham know the meaning of hospitality, ensuring we were made to feel welcome and cared for.nOverall, this B&B offers a perfect blend of modern sophistication and warm hospitality, making it a wonderful choice for a high-end getaway.
