A very basic 3 star motel. You get what you pay for but they really could do with some upgrades as the rooms are very dated. Also, maybe stop using single wrapped soaps as the plastic is so bad for the environment and useful to have more than one dishwashing liquid if you would like guests to clean dishes properly. Definitely poor water pressure in the shower too as other reviews comment. Otherwise great service and no road noise despite being on the highway.
Dated but well maintained with great value and view. Despite the location on the main road, surprisingly quiet. Shops and restaurants in the walking distance. Everything was okay for one night.
Basic room. The room was spotless, we found the bed wonderfully comfortable. Couldn't have been better suited to our requirements.
This Ahuriri Motel is a good place to stay - located between Mt Cook and Queenstown. Price is cheaper compared to the Mt Cook & Queenstown- with better rooms and facilities. The self contained unit comes with a big bedroom, bathroom and cooking facilities. Plus there’s a single bed in the living room for extra occupant. Service is good & friendly with some local pubs nearby to enjoy the night. You can sit outside to enjoy the snow capped Mountain View while having tea/coffee provided too!
Well priced motel in a location that lends itself to many other places to explore. Rooms are fine, shower is not the highest pressure but still perfectly adequate. Service was friendly and great.
