We are blown away with how wonderful this place is! The villas are super comfortable and clean. And it’s dog friendly, so our fur child has been able to join us. We will definitely be back.
Wow, just wow! This is a special place... the location and the comfort made our family stay this past weekend just so amazing. Seth, Nula and David are great hosts... they make you feel very welcome and are very inviting. Located about 15 min south of New Plymouth it allows you to be right on the coast, views are amazing, and access to lots of activities... two amazing surf breaks are within walking distance and easy drive south to all the breaks along the surf hwy.... or go north back into town and have so many other options for surfing as well. The villas are comfortable with everything you need and very clean. I highly recommend anyone looking for a place to relax, recharge and have a big breath of sea air... book it! You will not regret it.
Such a beautiful place to stay and infact is the best place I have ever been to. Such a perfect vibe and amazing views. The villa was outstanding and been designed very well. We were in awe with how well appointed our accommodation was. We stayed 4 nights, using the provided weber BBQ for our meals and very much enjoyed soaking up the views. A special mention must be given to Seth who was more than welcoming, made us feel at home and was happy to help with anything and everything. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was amazing, the full opening windows from the room, looking our to the sea was really enjoyable. I would highly recommend Ahu Ahu Beach Villas for your stay. You will absolutely love it and not want to leave. Don't look anywhere else in Taranaki as this is the place to stay!!
We arrived a little early but it wasn't a problem as Everything was ready. Wow...beautifully set up with everything you need for a relaxing stay. From a BBQ to an umbrella for shade. Perfectly located near the beach too. Both of the owners came to say hello, which was nice. We even had fresh milk in the fridge ...always a nice touchRooms: 5/5

Had my wife's 50th birthday party here and took the lodge, villas, the next door Air'BnB and some of the chalets at in Oakura. Seth and his Parents could not have been more helpful and their dedication to us having a good time, which included putting up a shade-sail in torrential rain, made our stay there memorable. We will assuredly be back there.....if could give them 6 stars I would.

Faultless stay. Everything it says on the packaging. We felt calm and happy from the moment we arrived. The location is second to none and each villa is thoughtfully designed and presented. We live locally but would happily return. The owners gave us a warm, genuine and unintrusive welcome. They have absolutely nailed hospitality.Rooms: 5/5
A superb setting, bar none, for enriching the soul. If you want to be immersed in nature this is the perfect place to enjoy it. The hosts: David, Nuala and Seth are delightful and very helpful.
