There is a growing demand for places to stay in our fantastic little part of New Zealand. From the kiwi bach to the luxury home, we need all sorts to meet all needs.

On the positive side: The place is really cool and spacious and the view is amazing! Surrounded by nature, it was relaxing to take it easy in the morning. The toilet is quite nice. The place can be warmed up nicely. On the negative side: The lighting on top of the table wasn’t enough, we ate in the dark of our shade… There is a stove, but the wood costs extra money. There was not lighter and the wood was dump so it was difficult to start the fire. There is no shower in HolidayHome3, so don’t come here dirty ^^’ The coffee maker was not working, and we had to fix it. The bedrooms are not separated from the other areas, so there is no noise cancellation.
We are here in Dec 2022. Super clean accomodations with advance toilet system!!! Heated n advance system! The estate manager is very friendly and helpful!!! A place that I would come again!!! Rooms: Very clean !!!
Very accommodating and friendly hosts who offered us some hot chocolate when we arrived which was the best thing after quite a dizzying drive up the mountain. The entire area was peaceful and relaxing and the house was cozy, very good for those who want to escape the city even for a while. We’re already planning on coming back here again.

It's our 2nd time up here! Still as excited and pleased with the service and stay at Renest. The house is spacious, well equipped and comfortable. Stayed 5 days here & had visited other prefectures around Kobe. We had arranged for the host for a round trip transfer. The log house is just 15 minutes from Kobe town so we could shop and do sight seeing, etc. & yet enjoy the peace, quiet and nature every morning & evening back at our log house. We enjoyed making a couple of meals, sipping sake and sitting by the fireplace in the living room. Home away from home, charming, quiet & mesmerizing. Expect great service, people and an amazing time here!
We are fortunate to see snow during our stay here. The house is so cozy. Sipping a cup of hot coffee by the fire place, listening to jazz music and watching the snow fall. What an unforgettable experience!!!
It was such an new experience for me! If you are looking for something rustic and cosy at the same time, this is definitely a to-go place if you are heading to Kobe!
