My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our horse trek over Easter weekend. Our guides, Pane and Maia were very professional. We both felt super comfortable and relaxed during our ride. Would recommend if you’re visiting the beautiful northland!
We took my 9 year old daughter here for her birthday. She did the short guided ride out along the beach and back. She loves horses but has little experience riding. The guide who took us was very welcoming and patient, and was very positive and encouraging. It was obvious that she was very experienced with horses and safely introducing children to horses. I would highly recommend Ahipara Horse Treks to families with young children who would like to try horse trekking. We will certainly be returning for a longer horse trek experience in the future!
We are a family of 4 riders parents and 2 teens and we dreamed to have our first beach canter all together in a safe environnement with well behaved horses... we got all of that and even more in Ahipara horse trecks! What an amazing place to ride and experience beach trot and canter! We have been super well managed by our guide, horses were just perfectly well educated and they totally well behaved. We could canter in small group and for those who wanted to just trot a bit or just enjoy a beautiful walk on the beach, all good, their horses just kept peacefully on low motion! A place Highly recommended for all horse lovers, willing to enjoy the beauty of the scenery in a safe way. We will come back in summer!
We had our mokos second birthday at Ahipara Horse Treks. The tamariki absolutely loved the experience. Getting to know the horses and making memories. Excellent communication and dedicated trek guides. Highly recommended
I had an absolutely fantastic hour of horse riding at Ahipara Horsetracks with the amazing France. The experience was a perfect blend of breathtaking coastal scenery and exhilarating riding, making it a must for a seasoned rider. France's expertise and passion for horses were evident as she led me along the stunning beach and sharing insights about the area. For experienced riders, the chance to canter along the shore will surely leave you exhilarated. I can't recommend this experience enough—it's a true gem for anyone looking to enjoy the beauty of nature on horseback! Thank you!
