Story

What I do & Why I do it
Over the last few years, I have had local business owners ask me if I could give them a hand, help with their tax stuff, do the odd job, or just give some advice. These business owners are the ones who are busy doing what they do best. They do not want either the hassle, or the cost, of hiring an employee. They do not have the time, or interest, to do their accounts themselves, but they still need those routine or one-off jobs done!

I have assisted many people over the years with accounting support, primarily because I am a naturally organised person and I like to work with numbers (and I like to keep busy). So when I saw that there were small business owners needing hassle free and low cost accounts support, and there was a clear gap in the market for this service, I realised it was time I put my skills to good use.
My service is hassle-free and confidential, and is available for either one-off or regular, admin support.

A little bit about me
I am originally from the UK. I emigrated to NZ in 2000 and I have been local to the South Waikato area for nearly twelve years.
I have over eight years’ experience working in administrative and small business management roles; I currently manage two local businesses, and I support several more in administration roles.
I have recently become appointed as the treasurer for the Tirau School PTA and Tirau Playcentre, both of which are voluntary positions.
When I am not working, I am enjoying time with my partner and our four children who are aged between 4 and 9 years. We enjoy rural living on our lifestyle block in Tirau.

Answering the national number for ‘no win no fee’; This was a work from home role & involved working autonomously and the ability to deal delicately with upset clients whilst determining whether they had a case for a personal grievance or not.
