Acupuncture NZ (formerly NZRA) is New Zealand's largest professional organisation representing practitioners of Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
Acupuncture New Zealand (formerly the New Zealand Register of Acupuncturists (NZRA)) - was first established in 1976 by a group of eight practitioners who sought to provide acupuncture treatment to any New Zealander who wished to look beyond the orthodox medical model. The first President of NZRA was WIlliam Wong Doo.
The organisation has grown and developed over the years and now has more than 600 members throughout the country. Acupuncture NZ members have been recognised as ACC Treatment Providers since 1990.
