I booked the karaoke room for my daughters 11th birthday. The room is amazing. Lots of fun props, big comfy couches and completely private. They had a great time. The service was great, the food came out quickly and was delicious. I have forgotten the name of the lady who helped me when we got there this morning, but her service was awesome. Money well spent!
We had an absolute blast in the new karaoke room! It was perfect for our group of friends and we loved that it was completely private. The dress up hats/accessories are such a cool touch as well.nnHighly recommend Action Centre’s karaoke experience if you’re looking for fun things to do in Richmond/Nelson!
100% recommend this place to anyone of any age. They have it all from the kids play area which my 2yr old son loved. To a mums night out where we were able to do bowling. have dinner and then use the new awesome Karaoke room. Such a fun place that has it all!
Absolutely poor service. Paid for a party package from 10 - 12. Food came out at 11.15......to be told 10 minutes later at 11.25 that we had 5 minutes to get everything out. Party was 10-12 not 10- 11.30! Should be a period of time between parties for cleaning, not encroaching on someone's booking time. Staff were extremely rude about it also. Won't be booking a party again, shame for your business as we have 4 kids.
While my children really enjoyed their time here, I was disappointed with how a small situation was handled. I paid $64 for entry for ages 11, 9, and 1 and picked up 3 pairs of socks. One of my children had already taken a pair without me realising, so I thought there were only 2 at the counter and asked for another. The staff member didn’t correct this. Nonetheless I paid for the 4 pairs as I was taking another group the next day.nnWhen my son came up for his wristband, I noticed he already had a pair of socks. He placed them on the counter while I helped him with the wristband. During that moment, the staff member pulled the extra socks back as if to keep them. My son reached for them, and she gave them back, but I found this interaction extremely cheeky.nnAfter spending $64, I thought it was very deceitful to try to make another $4 off me. I’d suggest reassess treating customer this way, as it doesn’t make paying customers feel valued at all.
